welcome to my for-sale page for this
sinar f
4x5 camera.
i purchased this camera at a san jose camera swap meet and used it to learn
large format. it's been a great camera, everything worked as i expected,
and everything i learned about in books, this camera was up to the task.
the camera comes with all the parts shown below, including a focus guide
card, a pair of 4x5 sheet film holders to get you started, a copal
0 lens board, and a locking metal trunk case!
i am selling this camera to put it into the hands of someone who will put
it to more use than it's gotten lately. i've moved to a field camera and
recently gotten into 8x10 format. if this was my only LF camera, i wouldn't
have stopped using it!
rear standard. includes all the expected movements and angle reading guide.
front standard. shift, rise/fall, swing. all the movements you expect
in a capable monorail system camera. includes two spirit levels and
angle reading guide.
graphlex style back.
regular 4x5 back. sharp grid design. accepts cut film holders. everything
is tight and strong.
rail clamp. on the bottom is a standard tripod mount. on the top, a clam that
works with the camera rail. clamps down nice and tight!
intermediate standard. with the rod, it attaches to the front or
rear standard.. so you have 3 standards and 2 bellows, for that maximum
extension with minimal sag. |
16" extension rail. extends the original camera rail for focusing
closer to subjects. don't forget bellows compensation when exposing your
image!
three bellows. i only ever used two of these. bellows age worse than
the camera, but these are still good, light tight. i never saw any problem.
i extended two of them fully when trying out the camera.
fresnel screen. clips into the regular back and helps a lot with slower
lenses.
bag bellows. a must for the f8/90 super angulon i used on this camera.
the bellows is in great shape.
